Hos to arrive

By Air
From the Salvador airport you can reserve an air taxi; the flight is only 30 minutes. Numerous flights are available throughout the day starting with the first flight at 8:30 a.m.

By Sea
From Morro de Sao Paulo; boats leave at 9:30 a.m. from Morro and arrive at noon in Boipeba; the speedboats are really fast and make two stops at natural pools along the way.

By Canal
The canal is the most common way to get here because the waters around the estuary are calm.
Sometimes, however, access through the canal can be problematic because of its shallow beds and sandbanks.

If you are coming by car (driving along the river) your best options are Torrinhas or Graciosa, places where there are speedboats, catamarans and other boats that go to Boipeba. In these two towns you will also find garages or guarded parking lots where you can leave your car.
